CDPrintExpress has developed an easy-to-use software program that
allows you to create a perfect master for CD printing in a few
minutes. Creating your own master saves time and cost; we never
charge a setup fee.
After you have downloaded and installed the free software, you
simply start up the CDPrintExpress software, open the photo image
(photo from digital camera or scanned image), zoom in to the area
of the photo that you want on the CD face, insert text and artwork
into the image (drag and drop), review the final design, save the
image and email it to us with your order.
The CDPrintExpress software has been developed with Microsoft's
new .NET Framework and runs on Windows only. If you have a new
computer you may already probably have the Framework runtime file
on your system. If you don't have the Framework runtime file it
can be downloaded from Microsoft's website (see instructions below).
The Framework is a fairly large file (20MB) but since most new
programs will now be written in the .NET Framework you will need
that file sooner or later. The CDPrintExpress software, however,
is quite small (300k)
Processing graphics files requires a fair amount of system memory.
To run the CDPrintExpress CD design software, you need 128k or
more of memory. The program will work with less memory, but painfully
slow.

Microsoft .NET Framework
If you don't have the .NET Framework on your system, logon to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
From that web site, your Windows (new versions, like XP) can be upgraded to
include the .NET Framework.
Alternatively, you can download the .NET Framework from http://www.microsoft.com/net/downloads.
Click on 'Get the Microsoft.Net Framework Redistributable (on right side of
the screen).
Or, if you cannot download the file, contact CDPrintExpress and we will give
you a link from our website
